Khali Khutta means Bare Foot in Nepali. This represents the approach we take to our lives and business, where we continually strive for a low impact existence; treading gently upon the Earth.
We are committed to wholesome and honest production processes and interactions with those we work with – our suppliers and you, our customers; for people and planet.
Our ethics can be seen in every stage of our activities. Our engagement with the communities we work with, the materials we source from them, our production methods and our product packaging.
Our products are made from materials harvested from the wild throughout the Himalayas, often following generations-long traditions of working with natural plant fibers, local bees, wood and metal. Through our work, we help support and promote these ancient ethnic arts and handicrafts. We use only natural dyes to colour our fabrics, using small-batch hand dyeing techniques.
We put love and care into each of our creations so that you can feel proud to carry Khali Khutta.
Khali Khutta began with the concept of combining our need to replace unsustainably produced, plastic, oil based, non-degradable products in our own lives, and our desire to support and encourage the sustainable production of traditional natural fibers and materials here in Nepal.
Our Lifestyle and Accessories capture these two ideals perfectly. We have designed a range of products for everyday living that are made from locally available materials.

Kheti Bazaar is the marketplace for organic products. By creating a market place for organic food we are encouraging more farmers to practice sustainable farming. We are linking our farmers with the consumers, as the knowledge of work, efforts and enthusiasm of these farmers is essential to be understood by us as buyers. We need your support to show them that there are people who care for what they do.
